The Better Understanding Archetype,the Better Studying Leadership

Through understanding archetypes can understand myself better. Unconscious can influence our behaviours,influence our decision,it act as a important role in our life.But we are always confused by why we do it in this way.Understanding archetypes can help us more conscious about ourselves,the more you know about you journey,the more the part of you makes conscious choices can share in this process.

Each archetype decription incluing its leadership qualities and life stories or myths.Knowing more about archetypes can more clearly understand our own leadership potential type.

Aspects of ourselves,archetypes may reveal our most important desires and goals.Understanding their expression in our life myths or stories helps us gain access empathy for the stories that others live. Understanding archetypes better also can help us to find out our goal in life.In the process of fostering leadership,can make it more efficient.

About the Rusults of PMAI

The PMAI results about me illustrate that,Innocent,Magician ,Sage and Creator are the most active archetype in my life.Whereas Orphan may not often express in my life currently.

In fact,I always hear that people think me is too innocent at my age.But I found the description of Innocent is completely fit for me.I have a basic trust to other people and belive it's a safe world.I always underestimate difficulties,become overly confident or optimistic.I should cultivate the ability of anticipate difficulties. On another aspect,I try to avoid temptation,I belive that simple life will drive to happiness.



In my life journey, I found I am a catalyst indeed,I can easily influnce my friends and my partners around.I confused about it before.But now,I can understand it.The Magician is that kind of person can influnce other people.I need down-to-earth working and learning,Being aware of how other people think and act.Doing inner work that fosters awareness of psychological forces.



Actually,I don't think I am Sage archetype currently,maybe when I fulfill my potential.

The result really let me become a little more conscious about myself.Also give me some suggestions.I should understand it deeply to help my life journey.

The Pros/Cons of Trait Based Leadership Theories


Galton's Hereditary Genius。In his theory,he denify leadership as a unique property of extraordinary individuals whose decisions are capable of sometimes radically changing the streams of history. But in our work or in our life,leadership not only about changing history. The significant is much more broader.In his difinition,it's too narrow. Whereas his theoy provid a basic model in leadership research.

The second significant point in this theory is that grounds the unique attributes of such individuals in their inherited or genetic makeup. It means leadership can't be fostered. It's too sweeping. Each need to be accuratly proved on sufficient study.For example,honesty is a significant trait to perform leadership,it's depands on a person's growth enviornment

Intro-About Me and Leadership

I'm Zhen Fang,come from China,take part in a exchange program named SDSU/Hotel. I will study in SDSU for one semester,then have a intership in Marriott for six months.

I often work in teams play a role of leader. I am a relatively self-confident person, in the team to decide when to resolutely make judgments, make the team more efficient. I'm also can drive the team other member, manufacturing a vision. Then, we work together for the goal.

However, I have a big disadvantage that's I often cannot persist in my job, resulting in members of the team will slowly not trust in me. Insist, is the trait what I want to gain. I hope that through this semester's study about leadership and self-management can make me change.

the first one I admired the most is tenacity. A person who have this trait and use it in a right way can achieve a success in his/her field。 They have the capacity to work with distant objects in view and have a degree of strength of will or perseverance. For example,Walt Disney founded Disneyland. In the process he really met a lot of difficulties,like financial problem. But he still can overcome all of them.
