Intro-About Me and Leadership

I'm Zhen Fang,come from China,take part in a exchange program named SDSU/Hotel. I will study in SDSU for one semester,then have a intership in Marriott for six months.

I often work in teams play a role of leader. I am a relatively self-confident person, in the team to decide when to resolutely make judgments, make the team more efficient. I'm also can drive the team other member, manufacturing a vision. Then, we work together for the goal.

However, I have a big disadvantage that's I often cannot persist in my job, resulting in members of the team will slowly not trust in me. Insist, is the trait what I want to gain. I hope that through this semester's study about leadership and self-management can make me change.

leadership is a kind of capability that can distinguish from leader and un-leader ,leader are able to lead the followers to achieve the goal.

leaders who have the requisite traits—drive, desire to lead, self-confidence, honesty (and integrity),cognitive ability, and industry knowledge—have a considerable advantage over those who lack these traits.

These traits not simply multiple, but combine in conceptually meaningful ways , are more likely to predict leadership. The dominant leader trait patterns are likely to be those that reflect an individual’s stable tendency to lead in different ways across disparate organizational domains.
